McKeesport Symphony Orchestra
McKeesport Symphony Orchestra celebrates 50 years during this 2008-09 concert season under the leadership of Maestro Bruce Lauffer. The MSO audience comes from a four-county area: Allegheny, Westmoreland, Washington and Fayette. We perform subscription concerts at McKeesport Area High School. The MSO presents a free summer concert in June at Renziehausen Park in McKeesport.
The MSO also supports the Mon Valley Youth Orchestra, made up of talented young musicians in fourth through twelfth grades. This ensemble performs both with the MSO and in concert at local venues. The MVYO Conductor is Mr. Kevin King.
All subscription concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

Family Friendly Concert
Bring children of all ages to enjoy the Grand Canyon Suite and the Cowboy Overture. Also enjoy “Speedy Delivery!” himself, Mr. McFeely from Mister Rogers Neighborhood, narrating the classic Peter and the Wolf.
Johnny Angel & The Halos
Johnny Angel & The Halos is one of the area’s top oldies bands, having worked with 50s legends like Chuck Berry and Frankie Valli. MSO is proud to perform with this classic and classy act.
